Symbiosis

Symbiosis is a relationship where two individual organisms live in close association with each other. in a symbiotic relationship at least one organism always benefits. An example of symbiosis in this biome is ants inhabiting the base of a leaf.
Commensalism

Commensalim is a relationship where one species benefits and the other species is neither harmed or helped. An example of commensalism is animals use Lianas as a pathway through the canopy layer of the rainforest while the Lianas aren't harmed or helped by the organisms.
Mutualism

Mutualism is a close relationship between two species where both species benefit from the relationship and depend on each other. Sometimes in these relationships each organism can not survive without the other. An example of mutualism is ants dwelling in a tree which provides them with shelter and food while they protect the tree against herbivores
Parasitism

In this relationship the parasite feeds on and lives in and on a host. the host is the organism where the parasite takes nutrients. An example of parasitism is the Mycotrophic wildflower and a host tree.
