- This jungle has been destroyed for decades by drilling activities.
- Texaco has dumped more than 18 billion gallons of toxic and highly saline water into rivers flowing through the rainforest.
- Texaco has also abandoned 1,000 open- aired pits.
- Texaco has also burned and vented millions of cubic meters of natural gas into the atmosphere without any adequate control.
- Between 1990 and 2004 , Texaco has spilled 1.9 million gallons of toxic water and oil.
- This large company has obviously ruined this environment for years and didn't care.
